Jean-Jacques Perrey, now enjoying his Alpine retirement, was a pioneer of electronic music in the early 1950s. With the patronage of Jean Cocteau and Edith Piaf he left France for the US where his career really took off. The documentary interviews the likes of Angelo Badalamenti, Air and Michel Gondry all of whom have been greatly influenced by Perrey’s groundbreaking electronic pop.
